The findings were otrageous &#8211; inhumane, disguting conditions and cruel practices.<\/p>\n<p>AHS&#8217;s Executive Director, Roseann Trezza, did not comment on the inspection and send\u00a0Assistant Executive Director, Jill Van Tuyl, to talk to the media.\u00a0 Aside from the ED&#8217;s refusal to stand and defend her actions and lack of actions, <a href=\"http:\/\/the Newark Patch broke the story about the joint state and city health departments\u2019 inspection of Associated Humane Societies-Newark. While the story highlighted many of the inspection\u2019s devastating findings, it also allowed AHS-Newark to explain themselves.
